Description

Sodium hydroxide is also known as caustic soda , caustic soda or baking soda. Caustic soda is a white solid material, odorless and in the form of white flakes, which easily absorbs moisture in the air and becomes sticky. This substance is considered one of the most important industrial chemicals that is used in many industries and it also has degreasing properties and can break down fat molecules quickly. Baking soda has a chemical composition that has a strong alkaline property and is known as a PH regulator, and it can be used to neutralize acids and produce all kinds of salts. Caustic soda is a type of ionic salt consisting of Na+ positive ion and OH- hydroxide negative ion in the form of NaOH.

Caustic Soda Flakes is a type of alkaline salt and has many applications in various industrial and non-industrial sectors. Peach soda, along with some acids, has the highest consumption among chemicals and is about 60 million tons per year, which is produced under the name of Sodium Hydroxide. Caustic Soda Flakes is white and odorless and is offered in the form of flakes or powder. This chemical is highly soluble in water and has less solubility in Ethanol and Methanol but does not dissolve in Ether and other non-polar solutions. Caustic Soda Flake is corrosive and non-flammable with concentration of 99%.

PETRO ARSES Company produces Caustic Soda Flakes in Iran, using the latest technology in the world and its experience in petrochemical industry. Sodium Hydroxide Applications in Soap and Detergent

Another important use of Caustic Soda Flakes is in the detergent industry. It is used in these industries to make soap, process to converts fats, foundations, and vegetable oils into soap. In this industry, Sodium Hydroxide is added to water and after heating, it is used to clean equipment and tanks. Another application of Caustic Soda is used to produce bleach. Bleaching agents have many industrial and domestic applications such as degreasing and controlling mold and mildew.
