Sodium hydroxide is also known as caustic soda , caustic soda or baking soda. Caustic soda is a white solid material, odorless and in the form of white flakes, which easily absorbs moisture in the air and becomes sticky. This substance is considered one of the most important industrial chemicals that is used in many industries and it also has degreasing properties and can break down fat molecules quickly. Baking soda has a chemical composition that has a strong alkaline property and is known as a PH regulator, and it can be used to neutralize acids and produce all kinds of salts. Caustic soda is a type of ionic salt consisting of Na+ positive ion and OH- hydroxide negative ion in the form of NaOH.

Uses:
Caustic soda flake is used in oil and gas industry, aluminum industry, paper making, production of different kinds of chemicals, food industry, pharmaceutical, textile industry and cosmetics and health products manufacturing.
Applications of Caustic Soda Flakes include Sodium Sulfide production, oil industry, detergent, paper, health, ceramics, alcohol, leather, automobile industry. It is also used for cotton factories for bleaching, wastewater and sewage control, degreasing, dyeing, water purification, acid neutralization in battery making, as a bleaching and lubricating agent in textiles.
The most common use of Caustic Soda Flakes worldwide is in the paper industry. It is used with 99% purity in the processes of pulp production, bleaching of pulp produced and removal of ink from recycled paper.
